The 2025/26 edition of Limpopo Business is the 17th issue of this highly successful publication that, since its launch in 2007, has established itself as the premier business and investment guide for the Limpopo Province.
Renewable energy and its deployment in the mining and minerals beneficiation sectors is an important trend which receives attention in several articles in this journal. Some of the biggest investments into the province’s economy have come from solar projects while tourism is another focus
area which is paying off in terms of new investments – and more tourist visits.
The Limpopo Tourism Agency (LTA) outlines some of its strategies while the Limpopo MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Tshitereke Matibe, calls for “partnerships with purpose”. These partnerships between the provincial government and the private sector will create an environment of certainty for investors where communities can thrive. LTA is an agency of the Department for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism and has recently had its mandate expanded to include investment promotion.
News related to mining, agriculture, tourism, construction and property, water, education and development finance is carried in overviews of the
main economic sectors.
